Halyard offers a complete portfolio of Surgical Gowns, Drapes and Sterilisation Wrap based upon the HALYARD*
SMS technology (Spunbond, Meltblown, Spunbond). SMS is made up of three
layers of polypropylene:

• The Spunbond outer layers provide exceptional strength and durability
• The Meltblown middle layer provides an efective barrier to bacteria and liquids
• The material has a low lint level, reducing the risk of contamination in the OR
• The lowest degree of flaking existing
• Maximum fire resistance when using electrocautions
